Graycor Construction Company Inc. (GCC), a subsidiary of Graycor Inc., a national leading provider of construction, maintenance, and facilities services, announced today that Timothy F. Hanifin has been promoted to President.

Wing, President and COO of Graycor Inc. “Graycor recently celebrated our 100th anniversary, and we are excited to have Tim lead Graycor Construction Company as we embark on our next century in business.”
Hanifin began his career with Graycor as an intern in 1995 while attending Northwestern University. In 1998, he joined the company as an Engineer in Graycor’s Engineering Mentoring Program. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University and is a graduate of Graycor’s Leader of Leaders program. Most recently, Hanifin served as the company’s Senior Vice President.
With 25 years of construction industry experience, Hanifin has led the company’s expansion of its shopping center, retail, and entertainment client base and in recent years has played a key role in growing Graycor’s distribution center business nationally.

He is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and earned the distinction of a Certified Design, Development and Construction Professional (CDP) from the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is also a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois.
