Greg Duvall Senior vice president, managing director NorthMarq Capital Overland Park, Kan.
For 27 years, Greg Duvall has ranked as a top-producing lender at the Overland Park, Kan., office of NorthMarq Capital.
And from the look of Duvall’s 2012, that’s a trend that doesn’t look ready to change.
As of the time of Duvall’s nomination to the Hall of Fame, he was leading NorthMarq Capital in loan production for 2012. He was also leading NorthMarq in fee income and in Fannie Mae DUS loans originated through NorthMarq-affiliated company AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance.
Again, this is nothing new for Duvall. In 2010, he ranked as NorthMarq’s top producer. And in 2011 he ranked as the second-most productive producer in the company. And, of course, he is vying for the top spot once again in 2012.
What is the secret to Duvall’s success? Actually, it’s not a secret at all. He provides top service to his clients. He’s always honest and ethical. And he knows both the financing business and his market on an in-depth basis.
Combine this knowledge, skill and commitment, and it’s little wonder that Duvall boasts a long list of loyal clients.
Just how successful is Duvall? During a 33-month period, he produced more than $760 million in debt financing.
Officials with NorthMarq recognize the special talent that Duvall posseses. It’s why the company awarded him with the O’Brien/Klebanoff Award of Excellence in 2010. That’s NorthMarq’s highest honor. In a bit of good fortune for NorthMarq, Duvall has spent 25 of his 27 years in the commercial real estate business with the company.
Duvall’s top-producer ways haven’t stopped him from giving back to his company. In additoin to regularly ranking as a top producer at NorthMarq, Duvall also serves on NorthMarq’s Executive Committee, working with other committe members to create policies and make decisions designed to help the company continue to succeed.
Duvall earned his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Kansas and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis.
