Greysteel arranged the $18.1 million sale of Cudahy Commons, a 142-unit multifamily property at 2810 E. Edgerton Ave. in Cudahy, Wisconsin, a submarket of Milwaukee. Greysteel represented the seller, a private investor. Peak Capital acquired the asset.
The assignment was led by BJ Connolly, Senior Managing Director and head of the Midwest Multifamily team, with Doug Banerjee, Senior Managing Director of the Dallas Multifamily team, and Ryan Carter, Senior Director.
The property attracted interest from capital sources focused on stabilized multifamily housing. That demand aligns with Greysteel’s newly released Mid-Year 2026 Investor Sentiment Pulse Check, which found that 84% of respondents plan to increase their Midwest multifamily exposure over the next 12–18 months. Yield and cash flow were the dominant motivation among Midwest-focused respondents (approximately 71%). Active private investors most frequently targeted $5–20 million transactions—the size range of this closing.
The closing reflects Greysteel’s work connecting private and institutional clients with investment-sales and capital-placement solutions for multifamily assets.
