Hahn Loeser & Parks adds to Chicago legal staff

Patrick White

Cleveland-based law firm Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP has added J. Patrick White to its staff. White joined the Chicago office as an Of Counsel member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Area. White will handle a wide variety of commercial litigation construction, real estate and related transactional and zoning matters.

Returning to Chicago where he practiced for eight years, White most recently served as assistant general counsel for the District of Columbia’s Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs where he provided legal counsel and civil enforcement in a number of areas including construction, zoning, housing, licensing and consumer protection violations, real estate tax and professional licensure and discipline.

Previously, White conducted due diligence and regulatory compliance with respect to mergers and acquisitions; and supervised corporate internal investigations on behalf of payment card and institutional banking clients for a Washington, D.C. firm.

“We are pleased to welcome Patrick to our team. He brings a keen intellect and a variety of professional experiences that will be of immediate value to our clients,” said Chicago Partner-in-Charge Steven E. Feldman. “He strengthens our Litigation, construction and real estate practice areas and we’re very excited for his future with the Firm.”

White is admitted to practice in Illinois, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He earned his J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, a master’s degree from Georgetown University in real estate finance and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
