Hahn Loeser & Parks boosts Cleveland office’s real estate practice with new hire

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP has expanded its staff with the hire of Kate M. Grady in the Cleveland office as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Area.

Grady focuses on commercial real estate, finance and real estate transactions and brings extensive experience in title examination and review for title insurance purposes (residential and commercial) and for mineral estates.

“Kate is taking on a key role in the continued growth of our Real Estate team and we’re thrilled to have her,” said Hahn Loeser Real Estate Chair Aaron S. Evenchik. “Kate’s legal talents and experience provide a great path for success.”

Previously working with title companies and as a landman, Grady has experience curing title defects, clearing liens, providing title opinions and assisting clients through the title process from inception to post-closing. She is skilled at reviewing the diligence in connection with real estate acquisition and financing.

Grady solves complex title issues using her vast experience reviewing title documents, surveys, and zoning. She also has experience drafting many types of real estate documents including loans, security instruments, indemnities, NDAs, and estoppels.

A Northeast Ohio native, Grady earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law in 2012, where she earned a CALI award. She also earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron. Grady is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association
