Hamilton Partners recently completed renovations at 500 Park Boulevard and One Pierce Place, two properties within the Hamilton Lakes Business Park in Itasca, Illinois. Balfour Pacific and Hamilton Partners invested over $7 million in capital upgrades in both buildings, which together comprise approximately 1 million square feet.
The lobby and elevator areas were brightened with new lighting, ceilings and floors in both buildings. At One Pierce Place, Hamilton Partners renovated the front entrance and added a Wi-Fi lounge and conference center. At 500 Park, renovation included a massive update to the entrance and lower level concourse level. Improvements also involved the creation of a new Wi-Fi lounge on the lower level and a walk-out patio for tenants that overlooks the walking path and lake.
Food options for tenants were expanded with the addition of Farmers Fridge and Foodsby. Both options increase employee satisfaction and can enhance company culture and engagement while the Wi-Fi lounges allow for an escape from the typical lunchroom and encourage a community in the buildings.
Recently trademarked as the Center of the Suburbs for it’s proximity to all Chicagoland communities, Hamilton Lakes Business Park is home to over 3.5 million square feet of office space. Since the park was developed by Hamilton Partners in 1987, many of the buildings have been renovated for the trends of today’s marketplace.
