Heck Land Company, a land brokerage company in Kansas, has sold more than 370 acres divided between three tracts in Lawrence, Kansas.
On March 10, Frontier Farm Credit hosted a sunset auction to sell the three tracts of land. Jeff Robertson, son of the former landowners, acted as Executor of Estate over his parents’ assets. He and his attorney initially approached Kelvin Heck regarding a total of five tracts of land, all of which were in the process of being settled through his parents’ estate.
Two of the five tracts sold though the traditional list-and-sell method. Kelvin Heck also represented the sale of those two tracts: 158± acres sold Oct. 1 of last year and 79± acres sold on Jan. 30 of this year – a total of 237± acres.
Once the family was ready to dispose of the remaining assets, Kelvin assisted in selecting Jason Flory of Flory & Associates to co-represent them in the auction of the remaining 370± acres.
