Heinen’s Fine Foods leased 61,965 square feet at Bannockburn Green making it the new grocery anchor in the shopping center, which is located at 2501 Waukegan Road in Bannockburn.

Bannockburn Green is a 151,206-square-foot community center serving Deerfield, Lake Forest, Highland Park, Lincolnshire and Bannockburn.  The center already hosts other retail tenants such as Walgreen’s, Erehwon Mountain Outfitters, Sleepy’s, Panera Bread and GNC.

Heinen’s Fine Foods is a Cleveland-based family owned grocery store established in 1929. Bannockburn will be its 20th store and its third store in Illinois – joining others in Barrington, now open, and another in Glenview that is opening soon.

“Heinens has a great track record and is a great fit for the upscale demographics of Bannockburn,” said CBRE Senior Vice President Joe Parrott who assisted in the lease.
