Commune Hotels & Resorts — an international hotel group — is expanding its portfolio of Thompson Hotels to Nashville with the 224-key Thompson Nashville hotel, expected to open in the city’s The Gulch neighborhood in the summer of 2016.
MarketStreet Enterprises, the master developer of The Gulch neighborhood, is working with AJ Capital Partners and The Berger Company to develop the new hotel. The property will feature a ground-floor restaurant and boutique retail space. The Thompson Nashville will also boast an indoor/outdoor rooftop with a stand-up bar, food offerings and a venue for private events.
The Gulch is a mixed-use neighborhood with more than 50 restaurants, retail stores and entertainment venues.
