St. Louis’ Hilliker Corporation is celebrating a major win with broker associate Holland “Buddy” Chalfant. Chalfant closed his biggest deal since joining the team in January with Surplus Equipment Company / RXShelving.com, a distribution company specializing in medical and pharmaceutical fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
Chalfant negotiated the deal for the 2,790-square-foot office space at 2382 Centerline Industrial Drive in St. Louis in April.
Before joining Hilliker, Chalfant honed his skills managing massive shopping centers across the country, overseeing over 20 million square feet.
The lead for Surplus Equipment Company / RSShelving.com came from putting in the time of cold-calling prospective clients. Chalfant said that using cold calling as one of his tactics has given him practice by refining his approach to explain to prospective clients how he can help their businesses grow with the right commercial building.
