Sperry Van Ness has announced the sale of a 66,000-square-foot Class A research and development lab building on a nine acre plot located at 5115 Sedge Boulevard in Hoffman Estates. Senior Advisor Olivia Czyzynski of the Sperry Van Ness downtown Chicago office and Anthony Lopes and Gene White from the Sperry Van Ness Memphis office facilitated the sale of the property. The property was sold to Sensient Flavors LLC. The lab sold for $5.6 million.
“The Sperry Van Ness marketing platform along with hard work helped us to find the needle in the haystack. Although this building was best suited for a lab user, we explored all potential purchasers. However, in the end we knew a lab user would find the most value in the property for the seller if the purchaser could use the building for its intended purpose.” Czyzynski said.
