Holladay Properties recently announced plans to build another student-housing project in South Bend, Ind., the Belfry.
The 16,800-square-foot development will feature 18 units with a total of 36 bedrooms in a variety of configurations. The new project will also feature unique architectural details, including parapets holding two historic, 120-year-old bells, which will be shipped to South Bend from New Orleans.
Each unit in the Belfry will average 500 square feet or more per bedroom and will be fully furnished, with bedroom and living room sets as well as 50-inch flat screen TVs. Each bedroom will have its own private bathroom.
Construction of The Belfry will begin in October, and the project will be complete in June of 2013.
