Holladay Properties, a South Bend, Ind. –based commercial real estate firm, has been selected to develop an 80-bed townhouse-style dormitory for Grace College and Seminary, an evangelical Christian institute of higher learning. The new dormitory will be located at the entrance to Grace’s main campus in Winona Lake, Ind.
Holladay has been working since March on plans to assist Grace College in addressing its student-housing needs. Holladay participated in a competitive RFP process and was selected from multiple developers to design and build the project.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with an institution like Grace College to provide innovative student housing solutions,” said Drew Mitchell, vice president of development for Holladay Properties, in a written statement.
The new dormitory will sit at the corner of West 7th St. and King’s Highway, and will provide a solution to Grace College’s student-housing shortage. Grace will master lease the project from Holladay Properties to provide on-campus housing for primarily upper-classmen.
