Fronius USA, a developer and manufacturer of battery charging systems, welding technology and solar electronics, recently chose Holladay Properties and Holladay Construction Group to provide design and construction services for the company’s new 399,500-square-foot headquarters at AmeriPlex at the Port in Portage, Ind.
Fronius announced in June of 2011 that it had selected the Randolph building in Portage for its North American Headquarters. Since that time, the street on which the building is located has been rededicated as Fronius Drive and the company went through a rigorous process to select a design and construction services provider for the required building improvements, ultimately selecting Holladay Construction Group as the general contractor and Holladay Properties for the design work.
“We are excited to have signed a design-build contract for the remodeling and improvements to Fronius’ new facility at AmeriPlex Portage,” said Scott Trueblood, Sr. project manager of Holladay Construction Group. Trueblood also noted that the programming and design created by Holladay Properties played a significant role in helping to secure the contract.
