Holland Construction Services, Inc., has been awarded the construction-management contract for the new $15 million City of Bridgeton Recreation Center in Bridgeton, Mo.
The facility will replace the existing community center and be located adjacent to the Bridgeton Crossing Family Aquatic Center.
Construction on the proposed 56,000-square-foot facility will begin this fall. The new recreation center will feature a gymnasium, a running/walking track, a weight/cardio room, an aerobic/dance room, community meeting rooms and support spaces. Aquatic features will include a recreational pool with lap lanes, an activity channel and some deep water areas for swim lessons and aquatic exercise classes.
Hastings & Chivetta Architects is the architect for the project.
