Honigman adds real estate specialist in Ann Arbor office

Honigman LLP is expanding its Real Estate Department with the addition of Christopher Mull as partner in the firm’s Real Estate Transactions Practice Group in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Mull focuses on commercial real estate law, advising large and mid-market clients navigating transactions across a diverse range of real estate asset classes and structures. He has worked on investments involving multifamily, office, retail, mixed-use, industrial, warehouse, affordable housing, renewable energy, hospitality, and portfolio deals.

Mull represents significant equity investors in the negotiation of their joint venture relationships with real estate developers. His practice also includes routinely drafting and negotiating commercial real estate purchase and sale agreements for the acquisition or sale of real estate interests. Additionally, he represents both borrowers and lenders in the drafting and negotiation of financing documents in connection with mortgage and mezzanine loan transactions, including note-on-note financings and loan sales.

Mull earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2016 and a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Mull worked as an associate with Goodwin Proctor LLP. Outside of client work, Mull is deeply involved in community and pro bono work by volunteering with a number of organizations, including those seeking to advance civil rights, addressing election law issues, preserving immigration pathways, and guiding LGBTQ+ individuals through legal name change and gender marker matters.
