Hoosier Energy has hired Jeremy Sowders as economic development coordinator for the generation and transmission electric power cooperative.
Sowders will assist Hoosier Energy’s 18 distribution cooperatives in central and southern Indiana and southeastern Illinois with business retention, expansion and attraction projects.
Sowders most recently served as the director of business development for Radius Indiana, where he developed and led a comprehensive business recruitment program for the eightcounty Radius Indiana region in south central Indiana. Sowders also worked closely with and provided support to local economic development officials, elected officials and Naval Support Activity Crane.
