Houston-based investor and developer Welcome Group made two key promotions.
Welcome Group promoted Ted Kakambouras to Senior Director of Acquisitions. Kakambouras joined Welcome Group in 2020 and has played a key role in expanding the company’s presence throughout the Southeast. He has helped identify and execute strategic acquisitions across multiple growth markets, supporting Welcome Group’s continued expansion beyond Texas.
As Senior Director of Acquisitions, Kakambouras will continue leading acquisition initiatives for Welcome Group while helping advance the company’s long-term growth strategy across the broader Boom Belt.
Welcome Group also promoted Ryan Wasaff to Senior Director of Leasing and Development, Greater Houston.
Wasaff joined Welcome Group in September 2001 and has spent nearly 25 years helping drive the growth and performance of the company’s Houston portfolio. Throughout his tenure, he has led development and leasing initiatives, cultivated strong relationships throughout the industrial real estate community across the Greater Houston region.
In his new role, Wasaff will continue overseeing development and leasing efforts across Welcome Group’s Houston portfolio while taking on expanded responsibilities related to development strategy, tenant relationships, and project execution.
