HREC Investment Advisors arranged the sale of the 70-room AmericInn Mounds View Minneapolis, in Mounds View, Minnesota. The property was acquired by SevenFour Hospitality, a regional operator with hotel properties in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

HREC Investment Advisors exclusively represented the seller, a private investor, on this transaction. The marketing and negotiations were led by Tim Storey (Vice President), Ronn Thomas (SVP and Broker of Record for Minnesota), Lee Kerfoot (Managing Director), and Taylor Ponath (Vice President), all based in the HREC Investment Advisors Minneapolis office.

Mounds View, just north of Minneapolis and St. Paul, features a highly educated workforce, safe neighborhoods, and a well-regarded parks system. The city’s diverse business community and ongoing development in neighboring suburbs fuel its economic strength.

The Hotel’s proximity to major employers like Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Cummins, Fiserv, and Land O’Lakes ensures a steady stream of corporate-driven demand, further supporting the area’s vitality. The Hotel also benefits from direct access to the adjacent Mermaid Entertainment & Event Center, which features two ballrooms, 32 bowling lanes, an arcade, and a full-service bar and grill.

The former Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP), located on the east side of I-35W near the Hotel, is currently being redeveloped into Rice Creek Commons, a major, mixed-use development for the Twin Cities. Additionally, the Hotel is less than six miles from the National Sports Center, the world’s largest youth sports complex.
