HSA PrimeCare, the medical office division of Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate, has completed development of a two-story, 22,500-square-foot outpatient cancer treatment center for Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. The $21.6 million facility is located on the campus of Silver Cross’ newly developed 289-bed replacement hospital at Highway 6 and Silver Cross Boulevard, just west of the I-355 interchange.
The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center at Silver Cross Hospital, located at 1850 Silver Cross Blvd. in New Lenox, is a collaboration between Silver Cross Hospital and University of Chicago Medicine that is designed to provide comprehensive oncology services to Will County. HSA PrimeCare was selected by University of Chicago Medicine and Silver Cross Hospital to assist in planning and developing the two-story outpatient center. HSA PrimeCare also owns and manages the facility.
The University of Chicago Medicine oncology department will occupy 10,224 square feet of the building, and a University-Silver Cross Hospital joint practice in oncology will occupy 9,661 square feet. The state-of-the-art cancer facility will open for patients on June 25.
