Hubbell Realty Company, along with equity partner Persimmon Capital Partners, will soon open a 40-apartment assisted living and memory care community in Des Moines, Iowa. Edencrest at Riverwoods will be located at 2210 East Park Ave. The community is scheduled to open in April of 2014.
A ground-breaking ceremony will be held on May 15.
Edencrest at Riverwoods will be a certified assisted living community through the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals. The new community will feature private apartments and common areas including a central dining room with restaurant-style dining, exercise room, beauty salon and private gathering areas for family and friends.
The community will also offer a specialized, secured environment for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The secured memory care is designed to meet the needs of individuals who require supervision and/or assistance with activities of daily living, through daily programming.
