R&R Realty Group is welcoming Hy-Vee, Inc. as the first customer to build at Prairie Tower Business Park at 130th Street and Meredith Drive in Urbandale, Iowa.
The West Des Moines-based supermarket chain is planning to construct a Fast & Fresh store with an accompanying Hy-Vee gas station and a drive up coffee shop.
Prairie Tower Business Park consists of 74 acres of land at the northwest corner of the intersection of 128th Street and Meredith Drive within Urbandale’s Urban Loop. Plans for the park include retail and flex office buildings along Meredith Drive on the southern edge of the property and warehouse space to the north along 128th Street.
It’s the latest of R&R’s developments within the area. Other local properties owned by company include Center Pointe Business Park, Aurora Business Park, Interstate Acres, Meredith Business Park, Prairie Business Park and Paragon Office Park. Within Paragon Office Park, the newly built Paradigm Building is setting a new, bold standard for speculative office design.
