Hyatt House Chicago/West Loop-Fulton Market is currently accepting reservations and will begin welcoming guests back. The reopening comes with a focus on guest and associate health, enhanced cleanliness and disinfection protocols, and physical distancing measures.
“The health and safety of our guests and associates is, and always will be, our top priority. We are excited to share the enhancements we’ve made to our already stringent cleaning protocols as well as the implementation of physical distancing guidelines and focus on health and wellness to ensure travelers can confidently and comfortably enjoy their stay with us, as well as ensure our associates have the proper training and tools to safely conduct their roles and serve our guests,” said general manager Tony Marco. “While the guest experience might look a little different, we can’t wait to provide the same level of service and warm hospitality our guests know and love in a safe and clean environment upon reopening.”
In accordance with guidance from the CDC and local health officials, guests at the 200-room extended-stay hotel can expect changes and new cleaning and distancing protocols designed with their safety in mind.
All associates will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including a face mask and gloves, as part of their uniforms. New PPE will be provided to associates at the start of each shift to be disposed of and replaced after each use and disposable face masks and gel sanitizers will be available for guests at the front desk upon request.
As recommended by the CDC’s social distancing guidelines, guests and associates shall practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from other people not traveling with them. Any area where guests or associates gather will be clearly marked for appropriate physical distancing with decals and/or signage.
Signage displaying health and hygiene reminders, including proper way to wear, handle and dispose of face masks, proper hand washing and sneezing techniques, social distancing guidance, as well as the importance of avoiding touching your face, will be prominently displayed in all high-trafficking areas of the hotel.
Enhanced cleaning protocols will require frequent and thorough cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas and items. As proper training is essential to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of associates and guests, all associates will receive training on these enhanced cleaning and safety protocols.
In addition to hosting overnight travelers, Hyatt House Chicago is offering guest room day-use options for local professionals seeking a clean and comfortable remote workspace, complete with phone and desk set-ups and free high-speed internet.
