Hyatt Regency Deerfield, a luxury, full-service hotel is once again open following the completion of the first phase a multi-million dollar, full-scale renovation. The first phase included the $14 million complete redo of the property’s 300 guest rooms and suites. Phase two, which is slated to begin first quarter of 2020, will update meeting spaces, common areas, the lobby and the property’s restaurant and bar, Jaxx Bistro and Jaxx Lounge.
The Gettys Group handled the overall design aesthetic, inspired by the surrounding rivers that helped define the Village of Deerfield, as well as its conceptual elements. The new guest rooms feature a combination of textures, and reflective and natural materials in a palette of grey tones, punctuated with sparks of color. The palette and textural elements will be woven throughout the common areas and 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space including two ballrooms, two boardrooms, 16 meeting rooms and pre-function space to create a cohesive sensory experience throughout the hotel.
Located at 1750 Lake Cook Road in Deerfield, Illinois, Hyatt Regency Deerfield is owned by Phoenix Development and managed by Texas-based Aimbridge Hospitality. Leopardo is the project’s general contractor.
