IDI has signed two leases totaling 553,334 square feet in the Chicago market. The expansion of OHL (Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, LLC) and the renewal of another tenant bring IDI’s Chicago leasing total for 2011 to more than 800,000 square feet.
OHL, a full service, third-party logistics provider, signed a 269,590-square-foot lease at Bolingbrook Corporate Center West Building II. Expanding the 183,500-square-foot space the company took in February 2010, OHL now occupies
the entire 453,090-square-foot building. The facility was completed in 2008 and is certified LEED Silver for Core and Shell. Bolingbrook Corporate Center West, located at 1150 115th Street in Bolingbrook, Ill., consists of two buildings that total just under 900,000 square feet. The buildings in the business park are now 100 percent occupied.
Ben Cremer and Michael Robbins of NAI Hiffman represented IDI in the OHL lease transaction and J.D. Salazar of Champion Realty and Randy Wolcott of ProVenture represented OHL.
In Southgate Commerce Center, IDI closed a lease extension with an unnamed tenant for 283,754 square feet at 2051 Baseline Road. The tenant originally occupied the building in 2000. IDI acquired the business park, located approximately 40 miles outside of downtown Chicago in Montgomery, Ill., in 2005. Caterpillar Logistics Inc., a third party logistics provider, also occupies 295,620 square feet at Southgate Commerce Center and the park is fully leased.
