The Northern Illinois Chapter of the International Facility Management Association celebrated its 25th anniversary July 10. The chapter also presented its yearly awards and had the induction of new board members. The 2011-12 board members who received awards were (from left to right): Kim Murphy, IFMA NI Advisor and Past President and Antron Commercial Flooring Specialist for Invista; Doug Kettel, IFMA NI President and Superintendent of Facility Services for the Schaumburg Park District; Gerald Zawislak, IFMA NI Vice President and Corporate Facilities Project Manager at Cummins-Allison Corp.; Bill Lewis, IFMA NI Treasurer and Manager, Building Operations at Walgreens Corporate in Deerfield; and Scott Solverson, IFMA NI Secretary and Manager of Business Development at Ragnar Benson Construction LLC.
