Elk Grove Village, Illinois-based Brown Commercial Group hired Luke Dummitt as an industrial broker who is managing investment and leasing transactions in Chicago’s western suburban market.
Dummitt brings a strong background in finance and economics to the new role serving the Greater Fox Valley area. He began his career in commercial real estate during two internships at Brown Commercial Group while in college. Through the mentorship of company Founder and Managing Principal Dan Brown, Dummitt gained valuable exposure to the industry and the client advisory role brokers can have in supporting client needs.
For many years, Brown Commercial Group has been committed to an internship program that provides high-achieving college students with exposure to commercial real estate and entrepreneurship. That exposure accelerates their careers and gives them a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Dummitt received a dual degree from Liberty University, achieving a B.S. in both Finance and Economics and graduating early to start his full-time career in commercial real estate. While in college, he achieved Dean’s List honors each term, demonstrating outstanding academic performance.
