Construction-management firm IMPACT Strategies recently completed a $1.1 million expansion project for Chelar Tool & Die, Inc., a Belleville-based manufacturer of high-quality progressive tools. Construction of the 12,000-square-foot addition began in October 2014 and completed in March.
IMPACT Strategies built a single story pre-engineered metal building that is equipped with the latest high-tech equipment used for making high-quality progressive and non-progressive metal stamping dies, metal stampings, specialty precision machinery and Blanchard grinding. The project is the second building expansion completed by IMPACT for Chelar Tool & Die, Inc. in the past 10 years. In 2004, IMPACT added a 16,000-square-foot building that provided Chelar Tool & Die, Inc., additional space for design, manufacturing and warehouse storage.
IMPACT Strategies collaborated on the project with architect EWR Associates, Inc., of Fairview Heights.
