Indianapolis-based Bremner Real Estate recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a cancer center in Norman, Oklahoma.
The OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional will serve patients from Norman Regional Health System and OU Health. The partnership is a powerful step toward enhancing health care services for patients in Norman and across southern Oklahoma.
The OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional will be located at the Norman Regional HealthPlex. The 48,000 square-foot building will combine a full spectrum of medical oncology and radiation oncology services under one roof. Project highlights include an underground tunnel to connect the on-campus facility with the main hospital, two linear accelerators to provide targeted and precise radiation therapy treatment, PET CT and CT Simulator, 24 infusion bays, exam rooms and physician offices.
This is Bremner’s fourth major project with Norman Regional Health. In late 2023, Bremner completed Norman Regional Nine, a 47,000-square-foot free-standing emergency department that replaced an aging hospital. Bremner is also currently constructing a 135,000-square-foot ambulatory care center and a 750- car attached parking garage. The OU Health/Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional project is scheduled for completion in 2025.
