Indianapolis’ Cushman & Wakefield|Summit recently raised $17,070 for the Shepherd Community Center, which provides services — everything from a food pantry and medical clinic to English classes and youth summer programs — to the residents of Indianapolis’ near east side neighborhood.
Summit raised these funds through its first fall Barn Bash. Employees enjoyed a live and and line dancing in a barn setting. A silent auction and raffle helped raise money for the community center.
“We are very proud of this impactful event,” said Rich Forslund, partner at Summit, in a written statement.
Rex Fisher, director of development at Shepherd, said that he and his fellow staffers appreciate the fund-raising efforts made by Summit employees.
“We are so thankful for the difference the people at Summit Realty Group are making here at Shepherd Community,” Fisher said in a written statement.
