Indiana’s Regency Properties wins top customer-service award

Evansville, Indiana-based Regency Properties won the 2017 National Commercial Real Estate Award for Customer Service Excellence award from industry analyst CEL & Associates, Inc.

One award is given annually in up to five categories based on portfolio size, type of firm and product specialization nationwide. Regency competes in Category 1, which has the largest portfolio size. This honor marks five consecutive wins for the retail real estate company.

“We are honored to receive this award for the 5th consecutive year,” said Kevin Hammett, president and chief executive officer of Regency Properties, in a statement. “This accomplishment is very important for us because it demonstrates our continued commitment to maintaining an industry-leading level of tenant satisfaction.”

Each year, CEL conducts more than 2.5 million tenant surveys to measure performance of commercial properties throughout the country. Survey questions evaluate the retail leasing and property management relationship and the overall quality of services, including maintenance, readiness and responsiveness to solve problems, property condition and lease renewal intention. Survey respondents rated Regency’s services and property staff as “Outstanding” among its class.
