Huntley Investment Partners, LLC (HIP), Newmark and Development Solutions Inc., (DSI), as general contractor, celebrated the formal groundbreaking of industrial development Huntley Commercial Center. Newmark serves as the exclusive leasing advisor for the project, representing HIP.

Celebrating the next chapter of the industrial project located at 11800 Factory Shops Boulevard, ground broke on the development’s first building—a 540,960-square-foot, Class A industrial building located on approximately 45 acres. There is an additional 16-acre site for a future 177,320-square-foot industrial build-to-suit that is available for immediate development. Both buildings will be constructed of precast concrete wall panels with a structural steel frame and a 36-foot clear height. Each building will be equipped with multiple entrance features including dock doors and drive-in doors allowing for ultimate flexibility when leasing the buildings.

Located along I-90 and Illinois Route 47, Huntley Commercial Center can accommodate multi-tenant or one large user.

“Not many industrial parks in the I-90 Corridor are able to accommodate an industrial/distribution tenant over 500,000 square feet, we are thrilled to see the project achieve this next important step and begin construction,” said Newmark Senior Managing Director Adam Marshall, SIOR, CCIM, who, along with Director Mark Deady, CCIM, serve as exclusive leasing advisors for the project, representing HIP.

In selecting a general contractor, HIP, a partnership consisting of The Prime Group Inc., Craig Realty Group Inc. and Capital Companies, undertook an extensive bidding process and ultimately selected DSI for the project.
