Plans are now underway for the 8th Annual Chicago Industrial Properties Spring Summit to focus the spotlight on issues and trends impacting Chicago’s 1.1 billion square foot marketplace.
The annual event will be held from 7 am to noon on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 and returns to a familiar site, the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook, 1401 W. 22nd Street in Oak Brook, across the street from Oak Brook Center.
Complete plans for the conference—which will feature a series of general sessions, networking opportunities and a forum for meeting event sponsors—are being finalized. Among the featured topics expected at the conference will be:
- State of the Market – this panel will feature some of the most respected names in the industry providing their perspective on the industrial market in 2011.
- Investing in the Market – buyers and sellers—users and investors—and those that help facilitate transactions, share their perspectives on how the sale/investment market is evolving and emerging after the devaluation.
- The Roads Into or Out of Illinois – a resourceful panel of experts discuss what recourse businesses have to volatile and impactful issues including taxes, incentives and FASB 13.
