Inland Real Estate Brokerage, Inc. (“Inland Brokerage”) has announced the appointment of Richard J. Artman to president and managing broker. Artman will lead Inland’s newest brokerage office location in Yorkville, Illinois.
“I am excited and proud to accept this position in an organization that I hold in such high regard,” Artman said. “The new office location in Yorkville will play a big part in the company’s strategic vision moving forward, and will see the expansion of Inland’s role in residential real estate while staying close to its roots in commercial and retail properties.”
Artman, who has been with Inland since 1985, is a seasoned veteran of the real estate industry and has held positions spanning from property management to land development and real estate brokerage. During his career with Inland Brokerage, he has been instrumental in developing, selling, managing and leasing retail, multifamily, industrial and residential real estate in northern Illinois and throughout the collar counties. Since 2003, Artman has personally completed over $75 million in sales.
“I plan to work in the communities and areas that I have been so closely involved over the last four decades while keeping our base of operations strategically located in Kendall County,” Artman continued. “We are actively seeking Realtors who sell both commercial and residential real estate.”
Artman is a licensed real estate managing broker and REALTOR® with the state of Illinois. He also served as a nine year executive board member and former two-term chairman of the board and founding member of the Yorkville Economic Development Corporation. Additionally, Artman served as an executive board member of the Oswego Economic Development Corporation for eight years during a period of historic and unprecedented growth.
The grand opening of the new Yorkville office took place on November 20, 2014, and several local area businesses, restaurants and the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce attended and supported the event. Inland Brokerage in Yorkville’s objective is to sell all forms of real estate, including residential and commercial, in Kendall County and the surrounding counties of LaSalle, DuPage, Kane, Will and DeKalb.
