St. Louis-based general contractor Integrate Construction Partners has completed construction on a $10 million Insurance Auto Auctions complex in Greenwood, Nebraska.
IAA, Inc. is a global digital marketplace connecting vehicle buyers and sellers.
IAA contracted with Integrate in December 2023 to convert the defunct I-80 Speedway racetrack at 13909 238th Street and its surrounding 51-acre site into an auto auction complex. Plans for the site included construction of a covered Vehicle Inspection Center (VIC) building and dedicated offices for insurance clients, in addition to covered motorcycle storage and indoor high line storage. The three-building complex also includes paved load-out roads, drive aisles and drop-off/check-in areas and parking lots.
Integrate partnered with Lawrence Group architects, excavation contractor Gana Trucking & Excavating, and cement stabilization and asphalt contractor Byrne and Jones Construction on the project, which required nearly 200,000 cubic yards of earthwork and over 60,000 tons of imported stone aggregate, plus 25,000 square yards of asphalt for the planned parking lots.
Integrate was able to offer over $1 million in cost saving ideas to the owner at the start of the project, along with an aggressive nine-month schedule, working through the winter, to provide unparalleled value to IAA. The project was completed in September 2024.
