West Des Moines, Iowa-based Hubbell Apartment Living recently received the 2012 South Dakota Multi-Family Association Award for Outstanding Large Property Management Firm.
The award was presented at the SDMHA Walk of the Stars award ceremony Dec. 13 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Hubbell Apartment Living manages two multi-family communities in Sioux Falls. Autumn Park is made up of 360 units. Penbrooke Place includes 216 units. Both properties were acquired in 2007 by Hubbell Realty Company, Hubbell Apartment Living’s parent company.
Hubbell Realty Company made a substantial investment in the rehabilitation and subsequent improvements of Autumn Park and Penbrooke Place. Both properties have been 100 percent leased for the past eight months.
“Receiving this award from the SDMHA was really a team effort between our great staff here in Sioux Falls and our constant support from the Hubbell corporate office in Iowa,” said Brian Majerus, Sioux Falls area manager. “Along with capital improvements, our commitment to training the leasing team and bringing on additional experienced employees helped to elevate our communities and increase occupancy to a consistently high level.”
