As part of an annual giving campaign, employees of R&R Realty Group in West Des Moines, Iowa, pledged a record-breaking $150,725.79 to the United Way of Central Iowa. This figure represents an increase from the total given during the 2017 campaign.
“Each year, our employees give generously to the United Way of Central Iowa and 2018 has proven to be no exception,” said Mark Rupprecht, president of R&R Realty Group. “I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to the R&R employees who gave back to an organization that does much to further our community.”
R&R’s employee participation rate for the 2018 United Way campaign topped 90 percent, a figure which Rupprecht says is as a result of the work done by the company’s Employee Engagement Committee.
“We have a group of dedicated employees who champion a positive and philanthropic company culture through initiatives like the annual United Way campaign. The creativity and enthusiasm of this group is what made this year’s campaign a record-breaker.”
The United Way of Central Iowa was founded more than 100 years ago and acts as a conduit between community leaders and local nonprofits, aiming to create sustainable solutions to our community’s most pervasive problems.
