More than 100 IREM Chicago members, industry partners and guests attened the association’s official swearing-in of the 2018 Chapter 23 leadership team Nov. 9.
New IREM Region 9 vice president Maleta Brown conducted the installation ceremony.
These four property management professionals will guide Chapter 23 next year:
· President Jim Vocos, Envision Real Estate & Management Co.
· Kris Haskins, president-elect, Colliers International
· Shruti Kumar, treasurer, Draper and Kramer
· Stephen Schimmel, secretary, McLennan Property Management
In his remarks, Vocos noted that his volunteer work within Chapter 23 proved valuable in advancing his career as a commercial property manager, and he encouraged others to volunteer on committees and during events in the upcoming year.
The Chapter also recognized Joel Garson and Dale Nusbaum on the anniversary of their 40th year holding the Certified Property Manager® designation from IREM. And, Mark Meskauskas, of Brian Properties, Inc., was installed for earning the designation.
The event, the final Chapter 23 meeting of 2017, was held at the Cube nightclub, located at the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, Illinois.
