Irgens has announced the upcoming development of Mokena Medical Commons, located on 191st Street in Mokena. The single-story, 30,000-square-foot Class A facility will be anchored by Women’s Healthcare of Illinois, a high-profile OB/GYN practice that has committed to lease 15,000 square feet in the project.

“The new, state-of-the-art Mokena Medical Commons will  bring high-quality, patient-centered healthcare to women of all ages in greater Chicagoland,” said Kenneth Finkelstein, president of Women’s Healthcare of Illinois. “We are pleased to work with Irgens to oversee this important project for the region and believe it is a tremendous, targeted opportunity for growth for progressive healthcare practitioners in the area.”

Located just west of U.S. Route 45 and 1.5 miles from the I-80/LaGrange Road interchange, Mokena Medical Commons offers close proximity to outstanding population demographics and easy access to numerous Chicagoland hospitals. The 3.7-acre site will allow for a flexible floor plan to accommodate tenants of all sizes, an abundance of surface parking and customized suites.

Women’s Healthcare of Illinois (www.whcillinios.com) is led by Finkelstein, who is a top-ranked physician in Illinois. The group provides comprehensive woman-focused healthcare services, including  general obstetrics and gynecology, urogynecology, high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures and daVinci Robotic Surgery.

Additional Chicago-area Irgens-led medical office developments include:

  • Little Company of Mary Outpatient Center, Oak Lawn
  • Edward Healthcare Center, Plainfield
  • Remington Medical Commons, Bolingbrook
  • Valley West Medical Office Building, Sandwich
  • Vista Health System Medical Office Building, Lindenhurst
