Irgens held a ground-breaking ceremony July 9 for The Corridor, a 66-acre mixed-used development just south of Bluemound Road across from the Brownstones Shopping Center at 17500 W. Bluemound Road in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Irgens executive vice president Dave Arnold spoke at the ceremony along with Irgens chief executive officer Mark Irgens, Brookfield mayor Steve Ponto and Waukesha County executive Paul Farrow.
“We’re proud to bring The Corridor to the City of Brookfield because this project reaches down to the core of Irgens’ long-standing mission,” said Arnold. “It’s an innovative and creative development that will play a key role in the growth and future of the City of Brookfield for years to come.”
The Corridor campus location has immediate access and connectivity to the surrounding community, which includes banks, restaurants, hotels and various retailers, and will feature The Corridor Corporate & Technology Park, which will be the first Class-A suburban office space added in the western suburbs of Milwaukee in more than 10 years.
The development also includes The Shoppes at The Corridor, which will feature more than 130,000 square feet of retail space, anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods.
