The Clarity Group, an information technology firm serving the healthcare industry, has leased approximately 1,200 square feet at Concourse Chicago, 8601 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue. The Clarity Group will relocate from a nearby Class A, multi-story office building in the O’Hare market after previously leasing nearly 9,000 square feet of space.
In leasing space at one of the single-story buildings within the 165,000-square-foot Concourse Chicago, the Clarity Group will be able to take advantage of private entrances to their space, dedicated HVAC, private restrooms and its own kitchen. Employees will also have access to the exterior courtyards at the complex which offer green space and outdoor lounge areas.
Before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the vast majority of the employees at the Clarity Group were based in the company’s office space. In fully embracing a work from home model, the firm has leased and designed a space that will allow tremendous flexibility. Most of the company’s employees will continue to work from home but have access to the company’s new space at Concourse Plaza. In executing this new workplace strategy, Clarity Group was able to improve efficiencies while considerably reducing its occupancy costs.
“This type of mindset will be adopted by companies looking for an office space and setting that offers them complete control over their space going forward. Having no restrictions on access and not sharing hallways, bathrooms or HVAC is even more important now,” said Steve Chrastka of NAI Hiffman, who leases the property with Jason Wurtz.
Concourse Chicago offers tenants 24/7 private suite entrances, in suite kitchens and restrooms, dedicated control of their heating and cooling and is in close proximity to I-90 and 294 as well as other transportation options. The Cumberland stop on the Blue line is 700 steps from Concourse Chicago and one stop away from O’Hare. Additional amenities, available post pandemic, include a coworking space, a tenant fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, private showers and changing rooms, conference space offering three options for meeting/conference rooms, a tenant lounge with free Wi-Fi, a coffee bar, game space and an outdoor courtyards with fire pits.
