What does it take to become a member of Midwest Real Estate News’ Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame? Our readers can now find out; Midwest Real Estate News’ second Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame issue has hit the streets.
This year, the issue — our most popular of the year — features 62 profiles of new Hall of Fame members. They join the 60 members we inducted last year in our first Hall of Fame issue. For those adding, this means that in two years we’ve profiled more than 120 of the top commercial real estate professionals in the Midwest.
And don’t worry that we’ll run out of new commercial pros to induct any time soon. This year, we had to cull through more than 300 nominations to winnow our eventual list down to 62. My guess is that we’ll receive even more nominations next year.
This is one of the most enjoyable issues of the year for me. It’s impossible not to get inspired by the success stores of the top real estate pros in the Midwest. These are men and women who have not only succeeded in one of the most challenging markets in the history of commercial real estate but have actually thrived during it. That takes real talent. It also takes dedication, hard work and a commitment to clients.
In fact, those four things — talent, dedication, commitment and hard work — are the common traits held by each of our Hall of Fame inductees. There’s no secret formula to success here. It’s the tried and true that works.
If you need a bit of instant inspiration, be sure to check out our Hall of Fame issue. You just might learn a few new strategies for success yourself. Who knows, you might be one of the inductees in our 2012 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame.
