Industrial Women in Real Estate — better known as IWIRE — earlier this year kicked off the season of giving a bit early, holding a fund-raising event and clothing drive for Poised for Success Oct. 13 at Cafe La Cave in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Poised for Success is an important organization in suburban Chicago, providing women free clothing that they can wear to job interviews and at work once they get these jobs.
IWIRE raised more than $16,400 for Poised for Success. Attendees and sponsors also donated more than 700 articles of clothing and accessories.
