J.C. Anderson Inc. has completed a 7,250-square-foot interior build-out for the relocation of OpenText’s regional field office. OpenText, which is relocating from Lincolnshire, has taken the new space within the Presidents Plaza office complex in Chicago.
OpenText, headquartered in Ontario, Canada, specializes in Enterprise Information Management (EIM). EIM enables organizations to grow business, lower costs of operations, and reduce information governance and security related risks. CBRE was the construction manager for the project, located at 8600 W. Bryn Mawr, which contracted J.C. Anderson Inc. to customize the new space to suit OpenText’s business needs. Construction included a new office layout with multiple conference rooms, interior offices with glass fronts, high-end millwork and ceiling cloud details throughout and a new server room with upgraded AV equipment.
Thomas Bean, president of construction services for J.C. Anderson Inc. was the project executive and Dan Burnette was the project manager. Architectural services were provided by IA Interior Architects. Construction management services were provided by CB Richard Ellis with Heidi McClenahan as the project manager.
