J.C. Anderson, Inc. to complete 25,000 SF office build-out in West Loop

J.C. Anderson, Inc. announced that the firm has been selected to complete an office build-out for Tishman Speyer, the property manager, at 227 W. Monroe Street (The Franklin) in Chicago.

J.C. Anderson, Inc. has been selected to complete the project at The Franklin, which includes 15,000 square feet of spec suites with an atrium lounge and a new 10,000 square foot fitness center. The project, which is set to be complete in September, will feature additional workout areas and a locker room expansion for the fitness center. The atrium lounge will feature casual seating, a break area, Wi-Fi internet access and multiple flat screen televisions.

The Franklin consists of two connected properties, 222 W. Adams Street and 227 W. Monroe Street, and is located in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop. Designed by the world-renowned, Chicago-based architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, 227 W. Monroe was constructed in 1989, is 60 stories, and offers 2,514,433 square feet of rentable space. Joe Maguire is the senior project manager for J.C. Anderson, Inc. Harley Ellis Devereaux is providing the architectural services.
