Jason Pammler named managing director at Clear Height Properties

Clear Height Properties has announced the appointment of Jason Pammler as managing director, project and development services. The appointment of the industry veteran represents another step in the firm’s growth and evolution and further movement toward becoming vertically integrated in the commercial real estate space.

“We are very excited that Jason has joined Clear Height Properties, bringing with him an impeccable reputation as well as a wealth of knowledge and experience,” said Joe M. Sergi, chief operations officer of Clear Height Properties. “Jason’s insights, connections and tech-savvy approach will allow us to further expand our platform and ultimately create value for our clients and partners.”

Pammler brings 15 years of construction, design and development experience to Clear Height Properties, with a diverse background in all project types. Most recently he was vice president of engineering and architecture, responsible for all capital improvement initiatives for Chicago-based Metropolis Investment Holdings. The private investor owns and manages a five-building, 6 million square foot portfolio of Class A office buildings. Among the holdings are NBC Tower in Chicago, 345 California Center in San Francisco and One Liberty Place in Philadelphia.

Given his experience with Metropolis and his intimate knowledge of their portfolio, Metropolis has retained Clear Height Properties, under the direction of Pammler, to oversee all capital improvement projects now underway. These projects include lobby renovations, tenant amenities, tenant improvements and base building capital improvements.

“This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an organization that is evolving its business to an entirely new level,” Pammler said. “We’re creating tools and systems to support client and ownership decision making, efficiency and transparency.”

While his primary recent focus has been on significant interiors projects, Pammler is accomplished in and will expand the firm’s capabilities in the areas of build-to-suit development and ground up construction. As part of the project management services program at CHP, Pammler’s team provides guidance in acquiring, financing, developing and managing real estate projects. This includes a systematic approach to budgeting, planning, design and value engineering.

Previously he was director of design and construction for Tishman Speyer, leading a segment of the activities at the firm’s 8+ million square foot Chicago portfolio. Pammler holds a master of science in project management from Northwestern University.
