JB Hudco, a third-party logistics firm managing clients’ warehousing, fulfillment and distribution needs, has expanded to a new industrial space in Carrollton at 4717 Plano Parkway. NAI Robert Lynn Principal Chad Albert represented the tenant in the deal, providing 162,000 square feet of additional warehouse space for its current expansion needs.
JB Hudco is one of the largest third-party logistics firms with service areas and warehouse locations across the country. Headquartered at 2100 Luna Road in Carrollton, the new facility is in proximity to the main office, while allowing for much-needed additional space. This expansion more than triples JB Hudco’s footprint in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, bringing its total space to 240,000 square feet.
Third-party logistics companies, such as JB Hudco, have experienced considerable growth during COVID-19. With supply chain disruptions and a rising need for fulfillment and distribution services, JB Hudco was ready to expand its warehouse space to meet increased demand from customers. DFW continues to grow as a hub for business expansions and relocations, and this new space will increase JB Hudco’s service offerings, ensuring products are efficiently tracked from receipt to delivery.
“JB Hudco is a leader in the logistics arena, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to partner with them in identifying the most effective real estate solutions to mirror their current growth trajectory,” said Albert. “We are currently pursuing additional expansion deals in both California and Florida, as they continue to grow locally and nationally.”
JB Hudco will be fully operational its new expansion space in July. Billingsley Co. owns the property and George Billingsley represented the landlord in the transaction.
