John Fitzmaurice, president of JCF Real Estate in Chicago, and Lori Tubbs, president of Commercial Advantage, Inc. in Merrillville, Ind., have formed a partnership between their two firms. The companies will now operate as an affiliation.
“Aligning JCF and Commercial Advantage is a natural step forward,” said Fitzmaurice, in a written statement. “We were looking to grow our brokerage division, and the experience brought to the table by Lori and her team will enable us to expand our capabilities throughout the entire Midwest.”
JCF Real Estate is a full-service commercial real estate firm established in 1993. The firm serves the Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan areas by providing property management, receivership/REO services, leasing, construction, investment and development. Commercial Advantage, Inc. was established in 1998. It specializes in industrial, commercial and multi-unit leasing, investment and site selection. Commercial Advantage primarily services the Northwest Indiana and south Chicago markets.
JCF Real Estate and Commercial Advantage will continue to operate from both the Chicago and Merrillville locations. Additionally, with the expansion of the brokerage division through the affiliation, the team hopes to open new offices throughout the Midwest in the next few years.
