Colliers International | Chicago has added Jim Lockhart as a senior vice president to its Office Advisory Group and will focus on office leasing. He spent the majority of his 30-year career at Grubb & Ellis and most recently at UGL Services/DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield as a senior vice president.
Lockhart has extensive experience providing transaction management, strategic planning and advisory services both nationally and throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
Anthony (Tony) Karmin has also joined the firm as principal, where he will focus on office tenant representation.
Karmin has represented many corporations and professional firms in office lease relocations and renegotiations locally and nationally for more than 30 years. Prior to Colliers, Karmin spent 10 years at Transwestern, most recently as executive vice president. At Transwestern he jointly oversaw the development of the firm and served on the company’s national board of directors.
Karmin has completed transactions throughout his career with a total consideration of more than $1 billion.
Joining Karmin at Colliers will be Michael Marrion. He and Karmin worked together for more than five years at Transwestern. Michael began his career at Insignia/ESG in Washington DC and has also worked with Grubb & Ellis Company in Chicago.
