ACCEND Construction, a 100 percent employee owned general contractor, has hired Jim Smiley as senior project manager. An industry veteran with over 25 years in the field, Smiley will lead ACCEND’s construction projects, ensuring the on-time and quality completion of all projects for clients.

Smiley will build upon his previous experience as a senior project manager to build teams, problem solve and ensure that project delivery is consistently flawless. Smiley is an accomplished and revered leader in the Chicago construction market, having led projects for Google, Vital Proteins, Google Cloud and Brookfield Properties (Formally GGP).
